I'm predicting 2018 to be the craziest year yet! Between having booked the most weddings (by like a lot) that we've ever had (thank you, thank you, thank you to those that have entrusted us with this honor), and having twice as many children as I've ever had :) it's going to get a little nuts. I'm beyond grateful, grateful and intimidated. I have just one foot into "busy season", so before both feet, my elbows, and ears are in it, I thought I'd quickly blog a fun little update and say hello to those that are new around here!
The biggest thing that happened this year was being blessed with our sweet, Evlyn (Evie) Joe.
Yes, going from a family of three to four is a bit of a transition, of course it is, but it's been a lot easier than I anticipated and so, so amazing being Momma to my two girls. And so far, Leona is in love with her. Lately she's been commenting on how cute Evie is at the funniest times, like right after spitting up all over herself. Evie will literally have puke running down her chin and Leona will be all, "Awwww... Mom, she's so cuuuute." Hahaha, love it.
I decided I'd like to do a separate post with more of Evie's newborn photos, so stay tuned, but here are a few of my favorites. :)
Our sweet lion girl turned three at the end of February, and so far every year I've taken photos of her the night before her birthday. This was the last night she was two years old. Time is going soooo fast.
Evie is three months as of yesterday (already!), here are some photos I took at a couple weeks and a couple months old. My gosh, I love these girls something fierce.
There is nothing quite like the love I have for my sisters, I truly hope my girls will feel the same way as they grow. I know they won't always like each other, but I'm confident they'll always love each other.
Honestly, besides a couple of work things and a few family birthdays, I feel like the past few months we've just been snuggling our newest addition while also trying to keep the cabin fever at bay because spring in Wisconsin decided not to show up until just now. I can only think of so many inside activities for a toddler before we both start to go a little crazy, haha. Can't wait to get these girls outside!
And the snuggle is real!
In February, sisters took Leona to her second Disney on Ice with her cousin Shae! Evie was a bit too fresh for us to join in the fun this time around, but I'm looking forward to making this a yearly tradition with my most favorite girls, I'm thinking well beyond the princess years. P.S. I LOVE that Leona is growing up with cousins that are all super close in age like I did. So come on Nik and Carolynn- Evie needs some cousins her age, too! ;)
