She's here, she's here, and we're all sooo in love! Evlyn Joe made our family a party of four on Tuesday, January 23 at 12:35 pm. Everyone is happy, and healthy, and over the moon!
Evie's delivery wasn't a whole lot different than the first go around with Leona, thanks to the staff at St. Joe's. The biggest difference this time was having Leona there by my side. Which was amazing and I'm so glad I made this decision and that it worked out the way it did.
Because these images right here, the last pictures we'll ever have when it was still just the two of us.
Leona, you will always be my first baby. You were my one and only for almost three years and I will cherish every minute forever. You are already the best big sister and I love the way you love your Evie girl. I can not wait to see you two grow together, to see all the things you will teach her and each other, to see you laugh, play, fight, giggle, and love each other.
I love you so much more than you will ever know.
Thank you for being my first baby,
And then she was here! It seems almost silly to think that not too long ago I was concerned about having enough love for another baby, because man, I do love you something fierce, sweet Evie.
And your hair! Love, love, love!
This is what I was sure Leona was going to look like because of Zak's heritage, but nope, Leona is all me. I'm so in love with Evlyn's hair and the fact that we now have "one of each." :)
Being a big sister is quite exhausting at times. :)
If you could only hear the audio that came along with this moment, this proud lion girl could not contain her giggles. Seriously one of the top three moments in my life so far.
