I hope everyone had an excellent Christmas! There were lots of smiles on our end!
But just like every year past, I take my camera to our holiday festivities to capture those smiles and end up only taking a handful of pictures. I blame the food table.
<<Sigh of frustration>>
I know how it sounds, a photographer who doesn't take pictures? Whhaaat? But, word on the street, that's how it is with a lot of professions. My tattoo artist has had only outlines, forever. A builder I know has dreams of finding the time to remodel his own house one day. Heck, if Zak and I hadn't gotten married this year, my most recent family photo would have been 2008.
So, I'm going to make 2014 the year of photos, photos of me and mine and the world that we surround ourselves with. Being committed to the blog should definitely help increase my personal photo count this year - I've promised a behind the scenes look into my world, so I shall deliver. I've already edited this year's Christmas photos...there's just the handful of them... but hopefully I can keep the pace into and through 2014. And PLEASE, let this be a reminder people, TAKE MORE PHOTOS!!! Ten, twenty, thirty years from now, you're gonna be glad you did.
Cheers to a prosperous and photo-filled 2014, from my family to yours!
